Founded by the collector Hasso Plattner, who was not only instrumental for the founding of the museum but also lends his private collection that includes master pieces from claude Monet), Pierre August Renoir and Alfred Sisley. The building is classic and soft and you can match the structure like Tinder with a beige trench coat but we can’t guarantee that you will leave the museum with a date.

  • Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art
    Cape Town, South Africa
Do you know when you make perfectly shaped ice cubes? This is exactly how the outside of the Zeitz museum looks like. Ice cubes captured in geometrical lines- have you seen something like that before? We bet you not, so prepare yourself to look at this magnificent building and the most significant museum of contemporary art in the African continent. Designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick, the building is like a cocoon with very spacious halls with permanent exhibitions, performances, curatorial studies and costumes expanding over 9 floors. • Louvre Museum
    Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The new Louvre in Abu Dhabi is a bridge between occidental and oriental art with its permanent collection mixing antique and contemporary styles. The building was designed by the architect Jean Nouvel and he was influenced by climate change and a combinations of light, shadow and reflections. Looking up the ceiling reminds us of the moon and down to the floor you will see water flowing from all sides. Located in Saadiyat island, you can get to it by boat or by foot, so no excuse to miss if you're planning a visit to Abu Dhabi.

  • Museum of Second World War
    Gdanzk, Poland

This beautiful and modern palace was designed by Studio Kwadrat- the highly appraised polish architecture group, which has won competition for the design of the museum. The museum is built underground so prepare yourself to go down and see the terror that the Second World War brought to the world in Poland, where it all began. There  you will find a permanent collection with 2000 pieces of work that mark this obscure time in history. The design was invented to remind us of how it was like to be a part of the war, fighting for your life. When you are down there, looking up you can see a crack that extends to a hole on the top of the building, and looking through it you can see the clouds, the sun and the sky, as a way out, a sign of hope. Breathe in and breathe out is Mandatory to live this experience.

  • Musée Yves Saint Laurent
    Marrakesh, Morocco and Paris, France
These two museums are dedicated to the collection of the french designer, Yves Saint Laurent. We are sure you have heard of Laurent at least once in your life and if you are lucky enough you have a piece of one of his collections hiding in your wardrobe. Paris is the city where monsieur Saint Laurent created his designs, which hosts a museum located along with other art and culture institutions in the 8th neighbourhood, next to the river Sene. It's interiors are designed by Jacques Grange, one of most well known interior designers in Europe for his exquisite style. Jacques mixes traditional with contemporary, corresponding to Laurent’s taste. Marrakesh museum is ten times bigger, an equivalent of 4000m and is painted in earthy tones, which makes it quite remarkable to an outside spectator. Inside the museum is divided into a permanent exhibition space, a temporary exhibition hall, a research library, an auditorium, a bookshop and café providing guests a cosy break spot.
